Canelo Alvarez vs. Callum Smith struggles start time: Live stream, PPV price, TV channel, how to watch

Canelo Alvarez is finally set to make his one and only achieve in the ring on Saturday night when he takes on Callum Smith in the main prhonor from San Antonio. Alvarez, who gained free organization from both Golden Boy Promotions and streaming service DAZN in a fair battle earlier this year, will fight Smith for a pair of edifying middleweight titles on the streaming platform.

Smith is the WBA titleholder and his belt will be on the line, as will the vacant WBC belt while the sanctioning body leapfrogged mandatory challenger Avni Yildirim to hang the belt on the fight. The winner will need to face Yildirim in their next struggles, according to the WBC. Were that state not already confusing enough, Alvarez also is the WBA "regular" champion, which is a step below Smith's state as "super" champion.

The fight is dreary in the physical differences between the two men. While Alvarez is the current and arguably the best pound-for-pound fighter in the humankind, he faces a (literal) tall task in the 6-foot-3 Smith, who will hold a mighty size advantage over the 5-foot-8 Alvarez.
